Before a hard conversation, have an AI play the four people it affects

sweetmelon team · Operations

Tomorrow you have to tell a customer of three years that the feature their team lives in is going away next quarter. You've rehearsed the opening line in your head three times and it comes out wrong every time. Write the situation down and have an AI take four parts in turn, two sentences each: what this person cares about most, and how your planned wording lands with them. The signer, whose budget it is. The person who opens the thing every morning. Their customers, who feel it last and complain first. And whoever on your side watches the numbers. Their customers are the part people skip. A decision that reads as tidy internally often turns into someone explaining it to their own clients for a month, and that's usually what the person across the table is actually weighing. You come out with four reactions and a better idea of which sentence goes first and what to leave for later. It stands in for the rehearsal you'd never find time to organize, and it doesn't make the call for you.
