sweetmelon is run by an individual based in California, United States. When these terms say "we", that's who they mean. By using the site you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Anyone 13 or older with an account. Post your own experience, in your own words, in English. One account per person.

You keep ownership of what you write. You give us a non-exclusive license to display it on this site and in link previews when it's shared. Delete it and the license ends.

Confidential or customer data, other people's content without permission, fake or duplicate accounts, buying or trading votes, harassment, and anything illegal. Posts and comments go through an automated check; some are held for a human look before they go live, and serious violations suspend the account on the spot. We remove what breaks the rules and may close the account.

Use cases written by the people who work on sweetmelon are published as "sweetmelon team" with the function they cover, not under a personal name, and those people are marked as team members when they comment. We don't run fake accounts and we don't inflate numbers.

sweetmelon is provided "as is". Posts are other people's experiences, not advice, and we don't check them for accuracy. We don't promise the site will always be available or free of errors.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on anything posted here — including lost profits, lost data or indirect damages. The site is free; our total liability to you for anything related to it is zero dollars.

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. We can close an account that breaks these terms. Either way, posts and comments stay up attributed to [deleted] unless they were deleted first.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, and you agree to that venue.

If we change these terms we'll update the date at the top. For changes that affect what you can do here, we'll put a notice on the site first. Keep using the site after that and the new terms apply.

We can remove content that breaks these rules, and an automated check may hold something for review before it goes live. If something of yours was removed or held and you disagree, email hello@sweetmelonai.com.
