Leave the pricing blank when an AI drafts your proposals

sweetmelon team · Sales

The first proposal an AI drafts for you gets read twice. So does the second. By the fifth you skim it, and that's the one with a promise in it nobody meant to make. Keep the drafting narrow. Pull scope, timelines and terms out of proposals you've already signed, and let the AI assemble a draft from those blocks. It arranges what you've approved before, and it doesn't invent anything new. A messy discovery call works the same way: hand it the notes and ask for a structure, then fill it in. Leave the pricing section empty on purpose. The AI could fill in a number, and typing it yourself is what makes you read the rest of the page properly. The same goes for anything you're promising this particular client. Drafting gets faster, and the parts that cost you money if they're wrong still pass through your head. One wrong line in a proposal is expensive, and you'd rather find it now than in a client's inbox.
