When an AI drafts the contract, keep the binding clauses out of its reach
You have an AI fill a contract template from your intake notes. What comes back reads complete and professional, and one version carries a payment term nobody on either side remembers agreeing to. Take those fields away from it. Amounts, dates, payment schedule, liability caps, anything with legal weight: those go straight from the intake form into the document, placed by the template, never written by the model. What the model gets is the descriptive part, what the project covers, how the work is staged, what the client ends up with. A clumsy sentence there reads badly and obliges nobody. Then check the finished file against the template before it goes anywhere. Every sentence should trace back to the template or to the form. Whatever traces to neither gets read by a person, because that is where an invented obligation shows up. You keep the time saved on assembly, and the part the model can still change is the part that binds nobody.
